Andrew MacLean revealed that Mike Mignola (!!!!!) has provided a pinup for his newest Head Lopper book. I know Andrew is besides himself over it, too.
Chris Visions was announced as the newest member of the OOSA crew and we couldn’t be happier to have him on board. This is his piece that got him selected as a Hannibal “Fan-Artist in Residence” and will be used by (and possible on) the show for their second season which premiers tonight on NBC.
Greg Ruth has also gone all Hollywood on us as he was asked to be part of Darren Aronofsky’s art exhibit “Foutains of the Deep: Visions of Noah and the Flood”. The show will open on March 7th in NYC.
Paul Maybury is providing all of the art for Image Comics’ Sovereign which begins next month. Here is the cover for issue #3. Be sure you pre-order your copies from your local comic shop.
Nathan Fox will have a bunch of new original art up in the OOSA store this weekend, including about 50 pages from the critically acclaimed book Dogs of War.
Liz Suburbia has some art in PUPPYTEETH Vol. 3 which was just reprinted by Czap Books. It’s available here.
Logan Faerber continues to know out the art for The Cartoon Guidebook For Absolute Failure series. Issue 6 is now available on Comixology.com.
Toby Cypress did a cover for the FUBAR: Better Red Than Dead one-shot comic by Steve Becker that will be available soon. Toby will also be at Locust Moon Comics in Philly this weekend promoting The White Suits comic he’s working on.
Alexis Ziritt is taking pre-show commissions for C2E2 and Heroes Con right now. So if you’re going to either, be sure you line something up in advance here. You won’t be disappointed.
Ming Doyle has finished her run on Quantum and Woody, but don’t worry, she’s already got her next project in the works. In the interim, I hope she’ll have time to share a lot of sketches like this Cyclops/Jean Grey piece.
